ScenarioLab Ltd is committed to providing a fair, inclusive and respectful environment for all colleagues, clients and learners. This policy outlines our approach to equality, dignity, respect and non discrimination across employment, partnerships and the delivery of our online training programs.
ScenarioLab complies with the Equality Act 2010 and upholds its core principles. We aim to ensure that every individual engaging with ScenarioLab is treated with fairness and respect, while recognising the technical and practical limitations of our immersive, game-based training format.
ScenarioLab values diversity and promotes equal treatment for all individuals regardless of age, disability, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, maternity, employment status or any other protected characteristic.
This policy applies equally to employees, contractors, consultants, clients and all learners participating in ScenarioLab training.
ScenarioLab will not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation in any form. All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
Harassment is unwanted conduct that violates a person’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile or degrading environment. Bullying refers to persistent or repeated behaviour that undermines or intimidates another individual.
Examples include verbal abuse, exclusion, inappropriate remarks, unreasonable demands or withholding information necessary for work or learning.
ScenarioLab is committed to ensuring that colleagues and learners can work and learn without fear of harassment or bullying.
If an employee engages in discrimination, harassment or bullying, disciplinary action may be taken in line with ScenarioLab’s procedures, which may include termination of employment.
ScenarioLab may suspend or remove access to training for learners whose behaviour breaches this policy.
This policy applies to:
It applies across all areas including recruitment, working conditions, communication, learning access, assessments and participation in ScenarioLab’s digital training programs.
Employment terms will be applied fairly and consistently. No individual will be treated less favourably due to a protected characteristic. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where operationally possible.
Recruitment processes will be fair, transparent and based on merit. We will take steps to minimise bias in shortlisting and interviews.
Progression and development opportunities will be based on performance and capability. ScenarioLab ensures equal opportunity for advancement.
All colleagues will have equal access to relevant development opportunities.
ScenarioLab recognises the importance of supporting learners with disabilities or additional needs. We will consider reasonable adjustments where these can be implemented without altering the essential nature of the training program.
However, ScenarioLab delivers an immersive, visually driven and audio supported interactive learning experience. As a result, certain aspects of the training may not be fully suitable for individuals with specific visual, auditory or interaction based accessibility requirements.
ScenarioLab will make reasonable adjustments where feasible, such as providing onboarding support, extended completion timeframes or written guidance. Where a learner is unable to engage with the digital format, we will work with the client or organisation to identify alternative training options that may be available outside the ScenarioLab platform.
This ensures fair treatment while acknowledging the technical limitations of our training system.
Any grievances relating to discrimination or unfair treatment will be managed in accordance with ScenarioLab’s internal processes. Concerns can be raised informally or formally.
Performance expectations and assessments will be applied fairly and consistently, based on objective criteria and without discrimination.
